Teacher Holding Designated Teacher Woodwork

We have exciting news to share about the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) in Bryan ISD!

On Monday, February 19, 2024, 89 teachers were recognized as new TIA designees, and 29 teachers were recognized for moving up to the next level. Bryan ISD held a reception in their honor before the regular School Board meeting.

In total, Bryan ISD has 243 TIA Designated Educators and we could not be more proud of the hard work that our teachers put into teaching our students daily.

We’ve learned the data we submitted from the 2022-2023 school year passed a critical data test. This means we are continuing to move forward in developing our district’s local designation system.

With this milestone, we know many Bryan ISD teachers will be receiving life-changing payouts in June! These payouts from the state will range from $3,000 to $25,000, depending on the teacher's designation level and the campus where they serve.

Each of these teachers made substantial growth with their students and also performed at the highest level on the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System. The designation levels include Recognized, Exemplary, and Master.

We would like to thank the entire Bryan ISD team, as well as the district TIA committee, for all of their hard work over the past three years to reach this milestone.

Bryan ISD is committed to recruiting, retaining, rewarding, and GROWING top teachers in all areas.

We will release more information as it becomes available. For more info on the TIA program click here.
